Kaua’iana (“of Kauai”) began as a cottage industry in 1976 on the north shore of Kauai, by entrepreneur and designer, Deborah Scott Jacintho. From small beginnings, in a small beach house, products were made and sold to a local following. In 1980, designer Linda Piccini joined Deborah in her endeavors and began designing three collections annually. Together the two built Kaua’iana into the clothing line that became an international brand. Their clothes could be found in boutiques and department stores throughout the U.S., Caribbean, Tahiti, Guam, Japan and European resort destinations.
Linda continues designing the Kaua’iana line from Kauai, the Garden Isle of Hawaii and continues to bring new and innovative styles to the lovers of the tropical lifestyle.
